1. Introduction
We take the protection of your personal data seriously. If you believe we have not handled your personal data correctly, or you are unhappy with how we have used it, you have the right to complain directly to us. This policy explains how to make a data protection complaint, what happens when you do, and the timescales you can expect from us. Why we need this policy: Since 19 June 2026, all organisations that control personal data have a legal duty under section 164A of the Data Protection Act 2018 to facilitate the making of complaints by data subjects by taking steps such as providing a complaint form which can be completed electronically and by other means, and to respond within set timescales. This policy helps us meet that duty.
